John Rowe was headed west on Route 46 when a Mount Olive police officer pulled him over around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, Mount Olive Police Cpl. Marianne Wurtemberg said.
The officer -- who recognized Rowe and knew he had a suspended license -- smelled marijuana in his 2010 Ford while stopped near Village Way in the Budd Lake section, the report says.
A search of the car turned up nearly ten baggies containing suspected marijuana, numerous empty baggies, a piece of tinfoil containing half-a-tablet of suspected ecstasy, a baggie of suspected cocaine and a stun gun, police said.
Rowe was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he was charged with possession of cocaine and Schedule I-IV CDS, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a synthetic cannabinoid, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.
He was lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility -- where he remained as of Tuesday -- pending a court hearing.
